I'm having trouble getting a reservation — what should I do?
Please understand that Craigie Street Bistrot is a tiny restaurant with very limited seating capacity and a kitchen smaller than yours at home. So we may not always be able to offer you a reservation at your ideal time. Your best bet is to book a table well in advance, particularly if you would like to join us on a weekend. Also, if you are able to be flexible regarding the time of your reservation, that certainly helps. You can still make spur-of-the-moment plans - we do get cancellations, and it is always worthwhile to call that day to see if we have anything available. I have a dietary restrictions — will there be anything for me to eat?
Our menu always features options for vegetarians, and we make every effort to accommodate other dietary restrictions as well (except for the "chef's whim," when this is not possible). Please call ahead, so we can consult with the chef in advance of your arrival.

Which credit cards do you accept?
We gladly accept MasterCard, American Express, and Visa.

Can Craigie Street Bistrot host or cater my private function?
We are most definitely able to host private functions in our restaurant. Click here for more details. Unfortunately, we do not have the space or the staff required to cater events off-site.

Does the restaurant have wheelchair access?
Guests in wheelchairs can access the restaurant via an elevator. Please let us know ahead of time, and we will be glad to assist you.

Is smoking permitted?
Craigie Street Bistrot is a smoke-free restaurant.

What is the dress code?
Feel free to dress casually.

Do you sell gift certificates?
Gift certificates can be purchased in any denomination and make a great gift for friends, colleagues, and loved ones. To purchase a gift certificate, call (617) 497-5511 or click here purchase online. We will send the recipient a decorative certificate, along with a map, recent review and sample menu.

What type of liquor do you serve? Do you have a bar?
We are licensed to sell beer and wine. Specialty aperitifs and ports are also available. We do not have a bar.

Is Craigie Street Bistrot a good place to bring babies and very young children?
Sorry, but not really. We do not have a separate menu for children or a high-chair. Since our restaurant is very small, even a small disturbance can interfere with other diners.

Will you partner with my charity?
